Joint Meeting of Supervisors and Project Executives of the East Birjand Block with Economic Geology Experts

A joint meeting of the supervisors and project executives of the East Birjand Block Project in the field of economic geology was held on September 14, 2026, with the participation of a group of professors, specialists, and experts in the field.

The meeting was attended by 19 supervisors and project executives, faculty members, and specialists from Tarbiat Modares University, the University of Tehran, Amirkabir University of Technology, the University of Tabriz, and Shahrood University, as well as staff members from the Mashhad and Tabriz centers. The latest status of studies and activities related to the East Birjand Block Project was reviewed and discussed.

During the meeting, participants presented their expert views and recommendations and discussed various aspects of economic geology studies, mineral potential, and the progress of exploration activities within the study area.

The meeting was held with the aim of promoting scientific and technical synergy, enhancing coordination among supervisors and project executives, and improving the quality of economic geology studies within the project. The participants also emphasized the continuation of collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and experience among academic and executive institutions.
